Spring is [finally] here
Today has thus far been fantastic. Te celebrate the gorgeous Portland spring weather I spent some time luxuriating in the beautiful urban oasis of the Portland Japanese Garden, after an invigorating ride on the vintage cycle. In fact, as of today, the '66 Dream is my primary motorcycle - I canceled the insurance on the 1982 Twinstar this morning and have put it up for sale -- when I looked this morning the seat had dust on it, which is as telling a sign as any. If anyone is looking for a fantastic small cafe style motorcycle I'll give you a great deal on my Twinstar. . . after all I can't ride 'em both at the same time. . .

In other news I have spent a lot of time preparing my art gallery, Vorpal Space, for the spring/summer season. First Thursday last week was the opening reception for Sleeper Cells paintings by Peter Archer. It is a fantastic show, and we sold 4 paintings at the reception [!!!]. Also, after a year of procrastinating, Vorpal Space now has a MySpace page, so for all you MySpace should add Vorpal Space to your friends list for invitations to receptions and parties and stuff.

Lifestyle wise, I have been doing the standard circuit of coffeshops, nightlife, and social and Masonic engagements -- with a bit of contract work mixed in. And, I have been playing Go almost every day with my brother benefitz, who is learning fast, and seems to have the potential to become a solid player soon.

Life is good.

p.s. I did get a copy of the Pyromania documentary from Firecracker Films in the UK, so I guess they don't suck afterall. Props to them.
